Purple Heart Mounting

The Purple Heart is a United States military decoration awarded in the name of the President to those who have been wounded or killed while serving on or after April 5, 1917 with the U.S. military. The National Purple Heart Hall of Honor is located in New Windsor, New York. With its forerunner, the Badge of Military Merit, which took the form of a heart made of purple cloth, the Purple Heart is the oldest award that is still given to members of the U.S. military.

The MTA is proud to be a part of this great event for the past three years. It seems a small sacrifice to give of our time and our talents to say Thank You to some of our Nation's Truest Heroes. To our Purple Heart Friends - words can never express our deepest thanks to each and everyone of you who fought to preserve the freedom and rights we enjoy today and for those who continue to fight for our children of tomorrow. You are a great reflection of what the MTA is all about and all of us here in the MTA are so very grateful and appreciative for all you give to this great cause. His incredible genorisity toward the wounded heroes never goes unnoticed by any of those who participate in this event but most especially by the War Heroes that we honor on this occasion.
